Fun things in the summer!!!

Here are some of the things the kids have been doing this summer!!!

Cole caught a caterpillar, so we thought, but it ended up being a silk worm and we kept it and it hatched into a beautiful MOTH! yep a moth, Cole was so proud that he did that.

I just thought this was a cute picture of Paige wearing Cole's baseball hat. Notice she is getting into the markers. She is always getting into stuff. But we love her, she keeps us on our toes.

Utah Lake Here We Come!

Can I just say how much I/we all love boating!!!! It is always so much fun. The kids had a great time swimming and trying to be brave on the tube. We got Cole and Chelsea out and Brooklyn and Mike, and I think Halley finally went to. It was a good time. Paige and Caleb didn't seem to like the water much... they would cry whenever we tried to put them in. Hopefully by the end of the summer they will get in there. Thanks mom and dad for letting us use the boat, we had a great time!!!

Going Private!!! Finally

Swimming, swimming and more swimming!

Lately we have been doing swimming lesson every day. Cole and Halley are like little fish swimming in the water and loving every minute of it. Paige is my sidekick and we sit on the side lines and just watch them. They are doing so great! Cole is trying to master his front crawl with his breathing techniques and getting his upper body strong enough to really push him through the water. Halley is really great at the arrow and swimming the front crawl without taking breaths. When Halley adds her breathing she has a harder time, but she is doing great and will get it soon I am sure. They are quite the swimmers.

Buzz Game!!!

Take me out the the ball game... Yep, we took the kids to a Buzz game. Cole had just finished up his T-ball season so we came upon some free Buzz tickets (thanks Uncle Duane) and took the fam. Grandma and Grandpa and Aunt Shan were there also, we had a great time. The kids loved there hotdogs and then the popcorn that Grandpa bought us. Had a great time. As you all know it is a slow moving game but Cole had the score board all figured out by the time we left and Halley learned all about outs, and strikes, and balls... good stuff to know. We left the game after we sang the Take me out to the ball game song, after the 7th inning I think... Go late, leave early, isn't that the motto for going to a baseball game. I know that it is mine!
