Merry Christmas!!!!

Merry Christmas 2008!!! Another year has come and gone but what a wonderful year it has been!!! Life is and always keeps us plenty busy. Cole and Halley are both in school this year and loving it. Cole loves first grade and is enjoying reading and math and going full days. Halley is liking Kindergarten and likes having short days so she can still get lots of playing in. She is doing great at reading and is our social butterfly. Paige is at home with me every day and we have a great time. We have become great little buddies!!! Paige looks forward to next year when she can start going to preschool like her siblings!!! We are going to add a little girl to our family next May. The kids are very excited, although, they really thought we were going to have a little brother, but when we found she was a girl, they were OK with it. Every once in a while Cole will say he wishes he were having a brother, or once he even told us that he was going to go and live with his cousins where they have all brothers!!! Pretty funny, but I know they are all really excited to have a new addition to our family. Greg is keeping busy at work. Thankfully!!! And I am always busy at home doing something... So all and all this past year has been great we have been blessed with so much and thank our lucky stars for all that we have. So from our family to yours... Merry Christmas!!!!!!!The Girls Christmas Morning before opening presents!

Cole Christmas morning before presents!

Finally getting to open presents!!!

Christmas Eve at Grandma Nita's in new Christmas pj's!

Grandma had Samuel the Lamanite prophesy about the birth of Jesus Christ, and the Lamanites were throwing stones (marshmellows) at Samuel up on the wall (Trent up on the back of the couch).

Happy Birthday Cole!!!!

Wow, I have a 7 year old... Where does the time go??? It seems like only yesterday that I was in the hospital having him, and now he is 7!!!! This year for Coles birthday I got to go to his school and help out with the Christmas party in his class. We did some fun activities and then Cole's teacher had a little birthday book bound that the kids in the class got to wish for him something for his birthday!!! Cole loved it and loves to look at the book. Then he got to pass out treats to his class. It was kind of a crazy school day with the class party and Santa coming to his class room and having to do birthday celebrations, but I think it turned out great. After school he came home and we waited for Greg to get home from work so that he could open his presents. Cole is really into Star wars, so he chose to do a star wars theme and got some cool Star wars presents and a super awesome cake. (Greg did get off a little early.) Then Cole got to have a sleepover with his Aunt and cousin. I think he had a really great time. The birthday didn't end there. Then on Saturday he got to go sledding and then to wrap things all up, on Sunday we had cake and ice cream with the family (thank you Adrien for the awesome Darthvador cake) and did our last little birthday celebrations!!! It was a long three days if you ask me, but it was a lot of fun... (12-19-08)

Cole's Christmas Program!

The First grade at Cole's school put on a super cute Christmas program with cute songs and little parts!!! Cole was assigned a little part, "With bright colored packages, and Holiday Cheer!" He was so cute. He sat on the front row and was sandwiched in between all the kids!!! But, he looked cute and did a great job at his program and learned lots of new Christmas songs. After Cole's program we got to go back to his class room and see the cute gingerbread house that he made and then take him home with us.!!! Great job Cole, being the great picture takers that we are, these are the only picutes that we got.(12-17-08) (Coles is in the red and blue striped sweater by the silver pole.)

Dance Recital

Halley had her first dance recital and looked absolutely adorable!!! It was a cute dance and the kids looked super cute!!! They danced to some upbeat song with the Chipmunks singing!!!! Halley was a little nervous to do her dance because she didn't feel like she knew it as well as she should have. But, she did a great job. It was fun to see her up there in her cute costume dancing away. (12-16-08)

Great Job Halley!!!

Halley, Lydia, and Lexi, looking good girls!!!

Ho Ho Ho!!!

Santa came to the ward breakfast this year and all the kids sat on his lap. They told santa a few things that they wanted. Cole told santa he wants a Wii (he thinks he needs his own so that he can play whenever he wants, ha ha ha). Halley said she wanted a doll and a trampoline. And Paige finally said that she wanted a doll. (Before she would say that she wanted a whinnie the pooh and a mickey mouse and a minnie mouse.) So we will see what santa ends up bringing!!!!

A little bit of Heaven on Earth KAUAI!!!

All Greg and I can say is that we had the time of our life on the tropical island of Kauai!!!! Here is the long awaited pictures. I will tell more about the trip later!!!! (Nov. 2- Nov. 9) For some reason this is having technical difficulties!!! To view our pictures just click on view all and it will take you to a different place to see the slide show. Sorry I don't know how to fix it and I don't want to do it all over again.

Halloween!!!

(This is the best picture that I got of the three of them, sad I know!)
We had a fun Halloween this year. Cole was a Jedi Knight, Halley was a Hula girl, and Paige was a witch!!! We did tons of trick or treating starting at 2:30 in the afternoon at the S.D. old folks home, then we went over to another one. And can I just say we got the mother load of candy. Then we went to Greg's work and visited there. Then as if we didn't think that we got enough candy, Greg and the kids went out yet again after dinner. Wow, and I mean wow!!! We have tons of candy. I gave a lot of it away (by the handsfuls) to the trick or treaters that came to our house, but it didn't really matter because still had just tons after the kids got back that night. So, if anyone is ever looking for a little treat come on over we have plenty... Still! I didn't get the greatest pictures this year but I will post what I've got.

Halley was at dance when this picture was taken (so unfortunately I didn't get a good picture of her this year, but I am still going to get one and post later.)

This is our Jedi Knight!

Our cute little witch!

Sad, but this is the best picture that I got of our little darling Hula girl!

Halley the athelete and dancer!

Halley started up soccer and dance this fall and is loving both!!! She is a funny little soccer player. Very timid and shy but supper sweet. If anyone falls down Halley will make sure that they are ok before she gets back into the game. And when I say get back into the game I mean it very lightly!!! She is just kind of out there in her own little world. She is not very aggressive but every once in a while she will get a good kick in. She also started up dance and is loving it. She loves wearing her dance outfit and feeling like a beautiful ballerina!!! She comes home and shows me all kinds of things, plie's, kicking her bum, and all the different ballerina positions!!!

Coles Playing soccer!

Cole the soccer player (#8)!!!!!! Cole started out quite shy and timid and fell on the ground a lot at the first of the season, but by the end of the season he was getting to be a really good player. He would get right in there and when he fell down he would get back up, and he even scored a goal in his last game. Good job Cole! (Sept.- Oct. 08)

Cole kicking a goal kick!!!
Cole getting in there!!!

And they all fall down!!! Isn't this a great picture!!!

Labor Day Weekend Camping trip!!!

Labor Day weekend we went camping up above Fairview, to Miller Flat Resevoir with the whole Robinson clan! It was freezing cold, as soon as the sun went down, and we weren't as prepared as we should have been, but we still managed to have a good time. (8/29-30/08)

Packing up the cooler and getting ready to go!!!

Greg and Cole had fun fishing!!!

Halley not loving the fishing!!!

Cole Loved the Fishing!!!

Paige just happy to be there!

The kids loved throwing rocks into the Res.!!!

There was plenty of squishy mud for the kids to play in and get really dirty!!!!

First Day of School!

Cole and Halley first day!!!
(Halley was done with school and changed for pic.)!!!!

I can't believe that she has started again. Where did the summer go. Cole just started first grade. His teacher is Mrs. Doxey, and so far he is really liking it. He also decided this year that he wanted to eat school lunch and so far so good, he is getting pretty brave to try new things. Halley is our big Kindergartener. Her teacher is Mrs. Bauer (Cole had her last year), and so far she is loving it. Paige is my big kid at home now, my best bud! We are enjoying cleaning the house running errands and just spending a little one on one time together. So life is good. It is a little weird having Cole gone to school all day but we are getting used to our new schedule. Life is good!!! (8-25-08)
